The successful candidate will be a music aficionado skilled in a range of online promotion techniques including blogging, social networking, forum posting and link building . If you are keen to learn about marketing and promotions, then this is an excellent opportunity to work in a music environment and gain valuable experience. The internship is open for 6 months with the possibility of a paid position for the right candidate.

Crossfade Productions are looking for producers to create interactive musical content using Ableton Live. You must have a deep music knowledge and extensive live DJing experience, plus the ability to create memorable 'hooks' and musical sequences. This is a full-time role and you will be working to a tight creative brief and deadline. The role is ideally suited to students who have completed the Remix & AV / Music Industry Project module on our Music Production & Sound Engineering course.

Defected Records are currently looking for an A&R assistant to manage the delivery, formatting, upload and filing of music. Responsibilities include: Managing delivery of audio masters and parts from artists and licensors, converting and formatting audio files for mastering and distribution, managing the music server, creating and uploading edits for sample clips and ringtones and uploading tracklistings and artwork for all product onto gracenote for iTunes. The ideal candidate will be tech focused, highly organised and efficient with good attention to detail. A passion for dance music and experience with Abelton is an advantage.

Vocalist / Music Producer

Attention to detail is crucial and you must be able to commit to a full-time role. This role would be ideal for students who have completed the Singing, Songwriting or Production courses here at Point Blank.
Part-time studio staff

Rogue Studios - a busy rehearsal / recording studio in South London are looking for reliable staff with good cutomer service and time keeping skills. You will be expected to set up PA's , drum kits, instruments and amps for sessions and pack away once completed. You will also take bookings and perform general duties so applicants must have basic music industry knowledge and be reliable, honest and responsible. Ideal if you have studied Sound Engineering here at the college.

Receptionist/Administrator

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, possess excellent Microsoft Office skills and be a helpful team player.
