DJ Course - Basic

CEO Rob Cowan with DJ legend Carl Cox

Summary

The Basic DJ Course is perfect if you want to start DJing or need some help with your beatmatching. For more than a decade Point Blank music production school has been teaching DJs of all ages how to mix across a whole range of music styles. Over the course of four weeks your tutor will guide you step-by-step through the equipment and techniques you need to keep the dancefloor rocking. We teach in small groups to ensure you get personal attention and essential hands-on experience. Everyone has their own DJ workstation which includes the latest top of the range Pioneer equipment. By the end of the Basic DJ course you should be confident in your mixing technique and be able build a set, blending seamlessly from one track to another.

'Thanks again for the course, it was brilliant! It de-mystified the realm of Djing, but also highlighted how complex it can get (if you want it to be). My jaw dropped whenI saw Ben scratch!'  Tania Lee • European Marketing Communications Executive (Pioneer DJ Europe)
