Music Production & Sound Engineering Diploma

Course Overview

Developed by music industry professionals who have worked with Bjork, Massive Attack, Blur, U2 and many more, the  Music Production & Sound Engineering Diploma is the comprehensive insider's guide to the creative music business. This two year course of study consists of six modules, each specialising in a particular area of music production and sound recording:

• Module 1: Introduction to Music Production
• Module 2: Music Composition
• Module 3: Sound Design
• Module 4: Sound Engineering
• Module 5: Art of Mixing
• Module 6: Music Industry Project

Each module is twelve weeks in duration and consists of one class per week plus unlimited studio practice time. Class sizes are strictly limited and each student has their own Apple Mac audio workstation in class. Your tutors are professional music producers who have worked with successful recording artists ranging from Lily Allen to Bob Marley. Every student on the Diploma course has access to the Point Blank studio facilities 7 days a week for the duration of their course.

Tutor profile Ian Sherwin Pro sound engineer Ian worked on the Mercury nominated debut album by La Roux. He's recorded with Primal Scream, Freemasons, Stereophonics and many others.
