Summary
The Music Composition course shifts the focus from the technical to the musical elements within your track. Even if you don't make music with lyrics you still need to understand how modern music is structured in order to elevate your track above the competition. If you want to sell your songs and/or make a living from your music, then it is helpful to have an understanding of music theory, composition and arrangement techniques. We also look at the music industry in the 21st Century and explore copyright, publishing and promotion. At Point Blank music production school we say: anyone can get some loops happening, but not everyone can mould them into a finished tune. The Music Composition module will help you achieve this.
