Anne Savage at Point Blank

Next month sees another VIP guest at Point Blank Music School. We’re delighted to welcome superstar DJ, producer and “Queen of Clubs” ANNE SAVAGE to the college on June 22nd for what promises to be another hugely popular Q&A session with students from our DJ courses.

Anne is among the DJ elite who are consistently voted into DJ Magazine’s ‘World’s Top 100 DJs’ and was featured as the only female in the ‘Top 10 Club DJs in Britain’ by the Independent on Sunday. She has played in almost every corner of the globe and often plays four to five gigs in a weekend! Not only that, but she has mixed a string of acclaimed compilation CD’s including several editions of the bestselling “Extreme Euphoria” series.

As a producer, she’s notched up a string of hard dance club hits and in her Dumb Blonde guise, she’s ventured succesfully into electro-tech and breaks territory; collaborating with Coburn and playing gigs at The Gallery, Chew The Fat, and Rennie Pilgrim’s long running breaks night Hum. As if that’s not enough, Anne also finds time to front breaks show ‘FreakyBeatz’ on Ministry Of Sound on the fourth Thursday of every month (2-4pm on www.ministryofsound.com/radio ).

So there’s lots to talk about and Anne will be taking questions from students at Point Blank Music School on Thursday June 22nd from 3pm.
