Paid gigs for DJ Course students

We have a fantastic opportunity for Point Blank Music School DJ students to play a two hour set – and get paid! We’ve teamed up with London’s coolest fitness club GYMBOX (www.gymbox.co.uk) to provide DJ’s to play at their brand new gym on St. Martins Lane, Covent Garden. The club was designed by the same team as Manchester’s legendary Hacienda club and features a DJ booth alongside all the latest training equipment.

Each week DJ talent recruited from Point Blank Music School’s monthly DJ course will feature at the gym / club. The current line-up features resident DJ tutor Mr. Bristow (Tuesdays) , Jayare (Weds /Thurs) and Big Uncle G (Monday). Big Uncle G is student Giovanni Morisco who just twelve weeks ago had never DJ’ed in his life. He enrolled on the Full DJ course here at Point Blank and now has his first weekly residency.

We are now looking for new talented DJ’s on the forthcoming courses, so if you are currently enrolled or planning to take a DJ course soon, then make sure we get to hear your demo and it could be you spinning at Gymbox.
