Point Blank at WMC Miami

The Winter Music Conference is over for another year and so we ‘ve reluctantly packed away the sun lotion for another few months and returned to not-so-sunny London (it actually snowed this week in the South of England!!) . As usual, Point Blank Music School was ably represented in Miami by Director Jules Brookes and CEO Rob Cowan both of whom were among the panellists speaking at the conference events. Jules took part in the “International Entertainment Market” Panel at the Regency Conference room, whilst CEO Rob Cowan spoke on the subject of Music Politics and Social Awareness in Miramar North. Thanks to everyone who came along.

It wasn’t all business though …other highlights included a party hosted by Red Bull and DJ Magazine at the Versace mansion (where Jules seemed to be the only person using the toilets for the purpose for which they were intended!) and the Giant Step party on the roof of the Sagamore Hotel. The roof terrace provided a great setting for Gilles Peterson to get things moving, whilst Jazzanova rocked the party well into the next day. Sunshine, great music, good people…here’s to next year!
