Point Blank student scores Top 20 hit

The latest success story from Point Blank Music College comes in the form of multi talented DJ and songwriter Assad Namazi, who took the hitwriting course at Point Blank over the Summer. Assad got his first UK Release in August whilst on the course via a remix of Raghav's "Let's Work It Out".

The mix proved so popular that it was included on the single package and reached no.15 on the Official UK Top 40. Assad’s remixes have been played constantly on BBC Radio and his Raghav remix spent over 5 weeks on the BBC Asia network playlist.

Assad gives props to Point Blank:

" I really enjoyed the course at Point Blank and I did use a lot of the things I learnt there in the Raghav mix. It was a great feeling learning from the course, implementing it in a song and getting my first UK release in the process".

Assad is currently in the studio and working for an independent record label specialising in Asian influenced R&B and House music.
