Free DJ Course - Cross Fader
The DJ mixer has faders for each channel as well as the crossfader that switches between two channels. But remember: the crossfader can only switch between channels if both of those channel faders are up and a tune is running through them.
If you crossfade across to a silent channel then you get silence. It is possible to mix without the crossfader by just leaving it in the middle and moving the channel faders up and down to bring records in and out by this is generally harder to do and it also means you can’t do crossfader tricks. |
