Danny Rampling

DJ Danny Rampling is widely credited as being one of the original founders of the UK's rave/club scene. He started the UK's first Balearic rave club, the legendary 'Shoom' which ran for three years in the late 80's. It was a launching point for acid house culture while contributing to worldwide dance culture. Danny played for the original pirate KISS 100 FM and then moved BBC Radio One where he hosted the second longest dance show in Radio One history, 'Love Groove Party'. He also has a long and extremely successful remix career. If you want to know how he made it, Danny's self-help book "Everything You Need to Know about DJ'ing and Success" is out at the moment. Rampling is a keen eco-entrepreneur and we are proud to have him on our celebrity scholarship roster.
