Module 9 of 9: Music Business - Practical Industry Project

Summary

The Music Business - Practical Industry Project is structured differently to the two previous modules. By this point students have covered the subject in depth and the next step is to gain invaluable practical experience and specialise in your chosen area. To this end Point Blank Music School introduces you to people in the music business, introduce you to the right record labels, help you find a band to manage etc. We bring in guest speakers to give you their unique insights into how the music business functions and how you can play your part within it. You will carry out an in-depth research project with guidance and input from the tutor team which will relate to your practical project: with Point Blank's guidance you will put on a professional event at a top London venue featuring live bands and DJs such as this one at 93 Feet East, Shoreditch, London. Working closely with your tutor you'll decide which options you wish to explore and then start realising your ambitions. This is your transition in to the real world of the music business. Good luck!
