Course Overview

If you would like to combine practical music industry expertise with a degree level qualification, then this is the music course for you. Delivered in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University, the BTEC Higher National Certificate counts as the first year of your music production degree. Once complete you will gain automatic access to the second year of the University's Creative Music Tech BA (hons) degree course.

Entry Requirements

Minimum entry requirements are 1 'A' Level and 4 GCSEs at grade 'C' or above; or a BTEC National Award, Certificate or Diploma. Applicants invited to interview must also be able to demonstrate a basic level of musical ability and provide examples of their work.

Student Funding

HNC students are eligible for financial support which is available to students wishing to enter Higher Education in the UK. Students can apply for loans to cover the cost of tuition fees and maintenance. For further details click here

The fee for this course is £4983. However European Union students are eligible for a reduced course fee of £1310.  Please note that for non EU students the full fee of  remains payable.
